Here are some answers to our customers’ most frequently asked questions:

Book Your Stay

How do I book a stay at the Ranc Davaine campsite in south Ardeche?

Online: choose your type of mobile home rental or camping pitch in the Ardeche Fill in the form and pay by card. A 25% down payment is necessary. You will receive a booking confirmation or refusal as soon as possible. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with our IBAN in order to make your payment. When and how do I pay the balance of my stay?

The balance of your stay must be paid 30 days before your arrival (except for camping pitches). Online: log into your Yelloh! Village account using your reservation number and complete the payment by card. The link will be sent to you by email. If you need assistance, you can contact us by phone on +33.4.75.39.60.55

How much are the handling fees?

As with all the campsites in the Yelloh! Village family, there are no hidden handling fees!

I know the campsite, can I choose my pitch?

When booking, you can specify your expectations and wishes. Subject to availability, we will assign you the most suitable pitch. This service is charged €40 per stay.

What methods of payment are accepted onsite at the campsite?

Cashless wristbands can be loaded at reception in cash, credit card, vacation vouchers and luncheon vouchers, or online by credit card. Payment by credit card is also possible in all our services.

Prepare your arrival

What time can I arrive and move into the rental?

In high season, check-in is possible every day from 5pm onwards. Pour les emplacements camping, c’est 13h. In low season, arrival times may vary according to availability, but access is always guaranteed by 5pm at the latest. All season long, you’re welcome to arrive earlier in the day and take advantage of all the facilities of the campsite (including the pool areas!) while you wait to pick up the keys to your rental.

We might arrive very late… What happens if the reception is closed?

For late arrivals, you’ll find your keys at the campsite entrance in an envelope bearing your name and a map. In this case, we ask you to come to reception the next morning to inform us of your arrival and complete the formalities for your stay.

Can my pet come to Yelloh! Village The Ranc Davaine ?

Pets are allowed on the campsites and on our camping pitches (1st and 2nd categories prohibited) but STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in rentals. A pet supplement will be applied.

What equipment is included in my rental?

All our rentals are equipped with refrigerator, microwave oven, sink, hob, crockery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, reversible air-conditioning (except in lodge tents), wooden terrace or artificial lawn, garden furniture, parasol or covered terrace,sun loungers…

Should I bring sheets?

Bed linen is included in our 4-flower rentals only. All rental units are equipped with pillows and duvets (but not pillow cases or duvet covers).

Will I be able to park my car next to my rental?

Yes, all our rentals include a parking space for one vehicle, either directly on the pitch or in a dedicated car park close by. A second vehicle is not allowed on the pitch, but additional parking is available near the campsite entrance. It is strictly forbidden to recharge electric cars using the plug sockets in your rental or on your pitch.

Can I recharge my electric car at the campsite?

Charging points are available near the tennis court. For safety reasons it is strictly forbidden to recharge electric vehicles using the plug sockets in your rental or on your pitch. Before you come, check out the possibilities for charging your vehicle in the surrounding area (St Alban Auriolles, Grospierres etc)

Some friends will be joining us for the night with a baby and we will exceed the maximum capacity of our rental, what’s should we do?

Our accomodation units are designed for a maximum number of people, including children and babies. Please contact reception to find a solution together.

Can I rent equipment for my baby?

Of course, our baby kit is included in the price of our 4 flower rentals.

For 2 and 3 Flower rentals, you can book your baby kit in advance via reception (while stocks last) : €2 per night per element (or €6 per night for the full kit). The maximum tariff is limited to €42 even if you’re staying for over a week.

The baby kit icludes:

  • A high chair
  • A travel cot (supplied without mattress for hygeine and security reasons, as specified by French regulations)
  • A baby bath tub.
Can I pay for end-of-stay cleaning service?

This service must be booked in advance via reception, on your arrival day at the latest.

Only the the floors, bathrooms and toilets are included in the cleaning package.

With or without the cleaning service, we ask all guests to:

  • Take out your rubbish to the dedicated zone at the entrance of the campsite
  • Clean the kitchen (cooker, sink, fridge, microwave)
  • Wash, dry and put away the crockery and cutlery.
  • Gather together any rented sheets and towels in the supplied transparent bag
  • and check you haven’t left anything behind!

Prepare your check-out

What time must my rental be vacated?

In high season, departures in rentals are up until 10am at the latest. For camping pitches, it’s 11am.

I’ve booked the cleaning service, what do I have to do before leaving?

Only the floors, bathrooms and toilets are included in the clening package.

Even if you’ve booked the cleaning service, before leaving we ask all guests to:

  • Take out your rubbish to the dedicated zone at the entrance of the campsite
  • Clean the kitchen (fridge, microwave, sink, cooker…)
  • Wash, dry and tidy away crockery and kitchen equipment
  • Gather together any rented sheets and towels in the supplied transparent bag
  • and check you haven’t left anything behind!
I haven’t booked the cleaning service, what do I have to do before leaving?

Before leaving we ask you to:

  • Take out your rubbish to the dedicated zone at the entrance of the campsite
  • Laver, sécher et ranger votre vaisselle,
  • Gather together any rented sheets and towels in the supplied transparent bag
  • Check you haven’t left anything behind!
  • Clean your accomodation (floors, kitchen, bathroom, WC) in order to leave it in the same state that you found it in.

Taking advantage of your stay and the surrounding areas

What’s the weather like in the Ardeche?

The campsite is located in the south of the Ardeche department, in a Mediterranean climate that is hot and dry in summer, and sunny in spring.

Is the river close to the campsite?

Yes, the campsite borders the river with direct access to a pebble beach.

I’m coming in low season. Will the pool areas be open?

Yes, they’re open from April to September, from campsite opening to closing. In low season, the covered pools are heated.

Can I wear swimming shorts in the swimming pool?

No, swimming shorts, swimsuits with integrated, non-removable skirts and burkinis are forbidden; only elasthene swimming trunks are permitted.

Are barbecues allowed?

Yes, electric plancha grills are available for hire from reception. Open-fire barbecues are banned in Ardeche by prefectoral decree.

What are the quiet hours of the campsite?

Quiet time must be observed by everyone from 11pm until 7am. No noisy or festive gatherings will be tolerated after 11pm. We remind parents that children remain under parental responsibility at all times and we ask parents to ensure that children return to their accommodation by 11pm.

My child is 4 and a half. Can they go to the kids’ club?

No, the kids’ Club accepts children aged 5 and over.
